Mary Chanda Represents KMU in Huawei’s Global CSR Program

We are proud to announce that Mary Chanda, a third-year Cyber Security student at Kapasa Makasa University, has traveled to China to participate in Huawei’s prestigious global Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program – Seeds for the Future.
Seeds for the Future is Huawei’s longest-running CSR initiative, designed to nurture ICT talent, promote knowledge transfer, and foster global collaboration through immersive learning in cutting-edge technologies. This international program brings together top ICT students from around the world to explore the crucial role of digital transformation in shaping our future.
During her time in China, Mary will gain hands-on experience with emerging technologies, including:
- 5G, Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence
She is proudly joined by fellow Zambian students from the University of Zambia and the University of Lusaka, representing our nation on the global tech stage.
