The Kapasa Makasa University Council’s Care Taker Committee was appointed on the 6th of April 2021 by the Minister for Higher Education as per provisions of Section 32(2) of the Higher Education Act No. 4 of 2013 and Section 21(2) of the Higher Education Act (Amendment) No. 23 of 2021. The Council is responsible for the governance, control and administration of the University while detailed terms of reference as per provisions of Section 25 of the Higher Education Act No. 4 of 2013.
