Kapasa Makasa University is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates who are highly motivated and passionate about making a mark in the education sector to fill the position of lecturer on either part time or full-time basis in the Agriculture and Aquatic Sciences department.  

1. Lecturer – Animal Science (expertise in Animal Production and breeding

The candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Grade 12 Certificate with Five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics
• Holder of a Master’s degree in Animal Science or related field.
• Must belong to a professional body related to the field of expertise
• Holder of an earned PhD or a Professor in Animal Science or related field will be an added advantage
• At least two years of teaching and scholarship experience
• A teaching Methodology qualification is added advantage.

 

1. Lecturer of Crop Science (expertise in Crop Production, Agronomy, Plant Protection)

The candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Grade 12 Certificate with Five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics
• Holder of a Master’s degree in Crop Science or related field.
• Must belong to a professional body related to the field of expertise
• Holder of an earned PhD or Professor in Natural Resource  or related field will be an added advantage
• At least two years of teaching and scholarship experience
• A teaching Methodology qualification is added advantage.

 

1. Lecturer of Fisheries Science (expertise in Fisheries Biology, Ichthyology, Limnology)

The candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Grade 12 Certificate with Five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics
• Holder of a Master’s in  Fisheries Science or related field.
• Must belong to a professional body related to the field of expertise
• Holder of an earned PhD or Professor in Natural Resource  or related field will be an added advantage
• At least two years of teaching and scholarship experience
• A teaching Methodology qualification is an added advantage.
