Kapasa Makasa University (KMU) students were part of the 2022 Huawei Seed for the future program and the Zambian Junior Engineers, Technicians and Scientist national fare held in Lusaka. The students were mentored by top industry experts in cutting-edge technologies such as 5G, AI and cloud computing before taking part in the Global Tech4Good competition. The Global Tech4Good competition involved students from China, France and other Zambian Universities and KMU students were among the top performers. The outstanding performance by Kapasa Makasa University students in all these competitions is as a results of the academic freedom given to both staff and students in order to promote innovation.
